  2. We build your preview

    We design a working site around your business and send you a private link within a few days. Open it on your phone and see it the way your customers will.

  3. Put it live, or walk away

    If you want it, we connect your web address and launch it. If it’s not for you, that’s the end of it, with nothing to pay.

    Questions

    Is the preview really free?

    Yes. We build it before you pay anything, and there are no card details to enter. You only pay if you decide to put it live.

    I already have Instagram and a booking app. Why would I need a website?

    Instagram and booking pages work well once people already know you. A website is what shows up when someone new searches for your trade in your town, and its booking button can go straight to the app you already use.

    How long does it take?

    Your preview usually arrives within a few days. Once you say yes, going live takes a day or two.

    What do I need to send you?

    Just the short form. We use the details you already share publicly, such as your opening hours and services, and you can send your own photos later.

    Who is Thornwell Studio?

    A small web studio run by Haseeb Maroof. You deal directly with the person who builds your site.

    Can I cancel?

    Yes. The monthly plan has no contract, and your web address is registered in your name, so it goes with you.

    Privacy notice

    Thornwell Studio is a trading name of Haseeb Maroof, 66 City Road, London EC1Y 2AL. This notice explains what happens to the details you send through this site.

    What we collect

    The details you enter in the preview form: your business name, type and town, your name, email, and your mobile number and current website if you add them.

    Why we use them

    To build your preview, send it to you and talk to you about it. We do this because you asked us to, and we only contact you in the ways you agreed to in the form.

    Who sees them

    Only us. Your details are held by the email and hosting services we use to run this site. We never sell them or share them for anyone else’s marketing.

    How long we keep them

    If you don’t go ahead, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep what we need to run your site and for our accounts.

    Your rights

    You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@thornwellstudio.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled them, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
